FAQ

Answers to the most common questions

Quick answers to common Firewallet questions.

Is Firewallet a custodial wallet?

No. Firewallet is an interface and automation layer. You control your account and addresses, while Firewallet operates the infrastructure.

Why use payment links instead of sharing raw addresses?

Payment links are easier to manage and safer with rotation. When receive addresses rotate, links are updated automatically.

Why did my payment link URL change?

If you press Reset link, Firewallet generates a new URL slug. The old URL stops working immediately.

Does API automation support automatic swap?

Yes. Confirmed API payments follow the same automatic swap routing rules as dashboard deposits, based on your Payment settings.

Does address rotation happen on unused addresses?

No. Rotation only triggers after at least one transaction has been seen on that address.

Where can I configure automation rules?

Go to Payment in your dashboard to configure threshold, slicing, delay, payout percent, and destination rules.

Where can I get support?

On the support page, or contact us through the links in the footer.
